Fall Play Day
SALT has grown so large, we have to split Play Day into two events - clear your schedule, grab your team and come out for some smashing fun on the courts with your friends!

Registration begins at 8:15 AM
Play begins at 9:00 AM sharp
New Scoring System
The results of the Scoring System Survey that was conducted last spring are in. The members of SALT were asked which of the following scoring systems they would prefer:
Current Scoring System: Teams are urged to play strongest pair on court 1 folled by next strongest pair on court 2 and so on. Teams will be awarded points based on sets won on particular courts. Three bonus points will be award to the team winning the match, (2 out of 3 courts). A total of all points at the end of the regular season will determine the winners in each division.
New Scoring System: Teams may play courts however they choose. The team winning 2 out of 3 courts wins the match. The teams winning the most matches at the end of the regular season will be the winners in each division. In case of tie, team losses, then individual wins, individual losses, sets lost, and last, games lost will determine the winners (in that order). No point system will be used.
Option 1 received 42 votes, option 2 received 73 votes. We will begin using the New Scoring System in the Fall 2010 season.
